I heard a very interesting program recently about the writing of a Leonard Cohen song So Long Marianne. I am not great Leonard Cohen fan but that might change I have to admit I was impressed by the interview. Leonard came across really well. They interviewed his muse for the song as well. Both are now in the seventies as the events relating to this song happen over 45 years ago.
He really did speak about his past with a great deal of understanding and peacefulness. He still remembers all the events very clearly. He had some wonderful one liners like about how he tries to live his life as peaceful as possible. All the things that made him upset now and than. He does not react to. A poet is he. He recalled with tears from his spine that surfaced in remembrance of time gone by from that relationship.

Of all his cd’s I do enjoy the future very much. I remember hearing it for the first time while watching an Olivier stone movie with about three people in the cinema. His budhist approach was very calming. while his poetry expression really does embody some moments. Something for every one to learn from and light our way.
