Of all the songs that are worth singing this has got be my favourite. One can question the misuse of love songs or the importance of them generally. This raises above it, as it is a simple state of being. Jackie Wilson was a soul singer who obviously inspired Mr Morrison to write this number. Reet-petite was one of his biggest selling numbers and is worth a listen too. It is no surprise that Van has just kick off a greatest hits compilation with this number. One of the great little known tracks and words are just fantastic.
